Michael Kors once said, "Ignore the rules. White after Labor Day is glamorous." Me being the white lover I am, could not bear wearing after Labor Day!! And the beauty about fashion is that the rules are always changing as well as the social norms.
After just three weeks of classes I have already learned so much, whether it is from my Business Law class that seems to drag on(but the information is so interesting), my Fashion Culture and Society class explaining social norms and how to speak through fashion or my Fashion History class breaking down the fashion from way back in BC.
It is safe to say I love learning more and more about Fashion and how it truly does speak for itself. I am lucky enough to be studying something I love this much and cannot wait for what is yet to come.
As a fashion student, I want to push the limits and express myself in a positive and chic manor, and I think this Juicy Couture Peasant Top paired with distressed white skinnies adorned with a simply denim jacket and heel sandals does just that.
So, take the time to express yourself in anyway you want, but REMEMBER your outfit says something about you even before you open your mouth to speak. Make sure it portrays the image you want others to see you in.
