LACMA...
So this weekend, my boyfriend and I went to LACMA which stands for Los Angeles County Museum of Art. (can you believe I have lived in L.A. for a little over two years and still had never been to a museum until this weekend? CRAZY! Well, now I can check it off my bucket list) We always try and find new places to go because doing the same things over and over can get a tad boring.
He needed to go to a museum for an Art class he is taking and after a few weeks of my Fashion History class I thought it would be a great way to see if I really understand what I have learned. GUESS WHAT? I did, it was probably the first time I actually enjoyed going to a museum because for once I could actually relate fashion to art. Most people already knew that and so did I, but it never clicked how. I truly love taking what I learn in class and applying to my life, it just proves more and more I am in the right major.
Going to a museum where you know you are going to be walking a lot can be a little tricky outfit wise. I knew right away I wanted to wear this Two Piece set from Soul Diem because of how effortlessly chic it is! My only downfall was I opted for my goto sandals (which are not so comfy), instead of the comfy shoes and boy were my feet killing when we got home. This outfit would have been super cute with anything from converse to ballet flats and that is what I love about it.
Two piece sets are a lot easier to make into your own personal style. You could add a belt or even a collarette.
Remember to always add your personal touch to every outfit.
