Labor Day Weekend...
Since my boyfriend and I live in different cities it is fun to mix up what we do when we visit each other. This weekend just happened to be the last weekend his cousin and his cousins girlfriend were in town, so what better way to spend it than at a theme park(and the fact my boyfriend and I have season passes)?!
I don't know about you, but I definitely enjoyed my extra long weekend. Friday we spent in my neck of the woods, and I went on a double date to Universal Studios with my boyfriend, his cousin and his girlfriend. Considering it was a holiday weekend, we did not expect to get through half the park, but believe it or not we did!(I think we only missed out on three attractions, seriously should be a new record or something) Regardless of tired feet and crazy wind blown hair, we had a blast and were definitely ready to get some rest.
Although I worked Saturday, it was in a beautiful hidden neighborhood in Encino, CA. It helps that I love my job , no matter how crazy as it can get, in addition, I am always traveling to new neighborhoods or cities I have never been too or heard of that are just minutes away.
Then Monday rolled around and I headed toward my boyfriends part of California to be spoiled by a gorgeous beach. We went to the Wedge with his family for the day, they boys went kayaking while his mom and I read or talked on the beach while watching the waves. It was the perfect way to spend the last day of the long weekend.
This weekend was one for the books even though it was not anything crazy, it was filled with new memories, new photographs and of course a lot of laughs.
